Road-bike tyres come in different sizes and constructions. A tyre’s marked width may differ from its measured width once fitted to a particular rim.
Check the bicycle and rim
Confirm wheel size, frame clearance, and tyre/rim compatibility. Follow manufacturer guidance for approved combinations and inflation limits.
Tube or tubeless?
Some systems use inner tubes; others are designed for tubeless use. Do not assume a tyre or rim is tubeless compatible without checking.
